Hey there everyone! I have no idea why I'm still up at this hour and this absolutely does not bode well for tomorrow, but I figured I'd sign on and say hello before promptly passing out.
I hope everyone's weekend was full of chocolate bunnies, marshmallow Peeps and Cadbury Mini Eggs (or cream eggs, Aaron). I was explaining to my good friend Aaron the other day how I went from an avid Cadbury Cream Egg lover (why the funky flavors lately? orange creamsicle cream egg? No way!) to a Cadbury Mini Egg devotee in no time. I have no idea how it happened but one day the Cadbury Cream Egg just became too much, even for a soon-to-be diabetic like me. The standard cream eggs are too large. I always eat half and then wonder if there's a good way to save the other half (which there never is since it oozes everywhere and there's no good way to store it and it rolls around, etc.). And the small, mini cream eggs are too tiny and the ratio of chocolate to cream is way off (too much chocolate, not enough cream).
Anyway, enough on my candy idiosyncrasies. I hope everyone had a great Easter - and if you don't celebrate Easter, I hope you enjoyed your weekend just the same. How is that for PC, eh?
By the by, after all the Lenten build up, I had some chocolate after midnight last night and I didn't even really care for it all that much. MAN I am getting old. What a let down.
So... some of you may have noticed the identity crisis this blog is going through. I'm hardly ever blogging but I sure am changing the background a lot. ;) Let me know which ones you guys prefer. (I hear you on the hard to read white writing on black background, Donna E. P.S. that is HILARIOUS that your husband bought you what he thought were marshmallow Peeps only to discover they were plush. That is too, too funny.) What I really hate about these design choices is that the font on most of them is teeny, tiny and I'm not going to select some super large font size every time. I could custom make my design but that would take forever and clearly I don't have that kind of time frame to fool around with (I can barely put up blog posts these days as it is! Sheesh!).
This green one spoke to me this evening. Spring brings out the green in me, kelly green in particular. I bought a kelly green coat the other day that I'm absolutely in love with. I'm almost thankful the weather will be a bit cooler and dreary tomorrow giving me an excuse to get all garbed up in my kelly green coat.
Had more to say but I'm just now realizing that it's 1:30 a.m. on a school night/morning. No good. Must sleep. Now. xo R.
